Brittany Brauer has been a professional dog trainer of 17 years in Southern Arizona. Her experience working day in and day out with pet owners has led to her passion of responsible breeding and puppy raising.
After seeing so many owners struggling with difficult and problematic dogs, one of the common denominators was poorly bred or raised puppies.
After owning, as well as professionally raising puppies for many years, Brittany and her long time friend, colleague and breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs, Bethany Tracy, combined their skills to offer a seminar on the best practices for whelping, raising, socializing and training puppies called the Puppy Potential Workshop.
After spending so many years around responsible breeders, Brittany knew she wanted to jump into the breeding world.
Once Brittany decided she wanted to eventually breed dogs, the search was on for the perfect breed of dog to help carry on and preserve.
On a fluke, she met David Procida, whom she hired to teach her and her border collie, how to play disc. David was a long time competitor in disc, as well as a breeder of Top Gun McNab Shepherds.
He hired Brittany to temperament test one of his litters and offered her a puppy. This puppy was Dunn. Once Brittany learned about and got her hands on a McNab puppy, she knew she had found her breed.
Brittany is an avid competitor in herding, dock diving, tricks and has recently began learning and practicing disc and barn hunt.
She has competed with her border collie, bernese mountain dog, german shorthaired pointer, as well as her McNabs.
