Buying Process

Step 1 - Fill out our application. The application will help me get to know you, your family, what you're hoping to get out of a puppy and your lifestyle. This application will aid in the puppy selection process.

Step 2 - Once the application has been filled out and reviewed, we will have a conversation on the phone or email to answer any remaining questions either of us may have, make sure we feel we are a good match for one another and to discuss current or upcoming litters that may fit your hopes for a puppy.

Step 3 - Place a non-refundable $300 deposit to hold your reservation of a puppy. The deposit will keep your place on the wait list for a puppy that matches the criteria we discussed. When a puppy is available, and you are ready, your deposit will go towards the remaining balance of your purchase.

Step 4 - Once a litter is on the ground, the puppies will be temperament tested at 7 weeks old, structurally evaluated at 8 weeks old, then matched by me with their new owners. Every puppy is raised by me, in my home and I know their capabilities better than anyone. That means, my years of experience, along with an independent temperament test will help match you with your perfect puppy. Of course, we take your desires for sex, color preference and more into account during this process.

Step 5 - After you have been matched with your puppy, we will set a date for you to pick up your puppy in Tucson, AZ. We can help you set up transportation, if necessary, as well. The total balance of the puppy (purchase price of $1500), less the non-refundable deposit, is due after puppy selection has been confirmed. At this point, you will sign and return the contract and prepare your home for your new arrival!

🐾 Lifetime Return Clause
Every one of our puppies comes with a written guarantee that they may always return to us, for any reason, at any stage of life. This ensures that no dog we’ve bred ever ends up in a shelter, rescue, or unsafe environment. Life can change, and we want our owners to know that they’ll always have our support and a safe place for their dog to go home to.

📝 Non-Breeding Contracts
Our puppies are placed on non-breeding agreements unless otherwise discussed for approved, health-tested, co-owned breeding programs. This protects the integrity of the breed by preventing accidental or unplanned litters and ensuring that only dogs who have passed comprehensive health and temperament evaluations contribute to the next generation.

We also include a clause requiring continued contact between breeder and puppy owner. This isn’t about control, it’s about community. Staying in touch allows us to provide lifelong guidance, track health and temperament trends in our lines, and offer support whenever it’s needed. By maintaining open communication, we strengthen our ability to make informed, ethical breeding decisions and provide the best possible care for every dog.
